📖 “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.” — Ephesians 4:26
God created us with emotions—they are a part of His good design. Emotions themselves aren’t sinful, but they can become harmful when we ignore them, deny them, or allow them to control our choices. That’s why Scripture reminds us: be angry, but do not sin.
Naming your feelings is powerful. When you can say, “I feel anxious,” or “I feel disappointed,” you begin to untangle the swirl inside your heart. This isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom. Acknowledging your emotions is the first step toward inviting Jesus into that space.
Whether it’s anger, sadness, joy, fear, or confusion, bring it into the light of His presence. He doesn’t shame you for what you feel; He meets you there, offering peace, clarity, and healing. 💚
Pause today and ask yourself: “What am I truly feeling right now?” Write it down in a journal or your notes app. Then take a moment to surrender that feeling to God in prayer:
“Lord, I feel ____. Help me respond in a way that honors You.”
You’ll be surprised how much lighter you feel when you name it and give it to Him. 🙌
