🧰 Biblical Coping Skills That Actually Help:
Life gets heavy, and God never asked us to carry the weight alone. The Bible is full of real, human moments—and in them, we find holy, healing tools.
• Cry it out – John 11:35
Jesus wept. He didn’t stuff His emotions. He didn’t fake strength. He let the tears fall—and that gives you permission to do the same.
• Talk to God – Psalm 62:8
“Pour out your heart before Him.” Not just the polished prayers. The raw, unfiltered ones. He’s not tired of hearing from you.
• Rest – Mark 6:31
Even Jesus told the disciples, “Come away… and rest.” You’re not lazy for needing rest. You’re honoring your God-designed limits.
• Reframe with truth – 2 Cor. 10:5
Take every thought captive. Not by pretending everything’s fine—but by speaking truth to the lies swirling in your mind.
You’re not weak for needing coping skills.
You’re human—and Jesus meets you there. 🤍
📖 What’s one of these you need to lean into this week?
